BIOSKETCH
Kapil Satyapal is a Senior Professor and Fellow of the University of Kwazulu Natal. He is a Clinical Anatomist
and Surgeon: he has a Senior Doctorate in General Surgery and Fellowships from the Royal College of
Physicians in Ireland and the US International College of Angiology. He also has a Masters in Medical Law
and is appointed to the Medical and Dental Board of the HPCSA and the South African Medico-Legal Society
Board. He has enjoyed an international reputation in Clinical Anatomy and Related Fields and has been a
visiting Professor to several leading international universities including Mayo Clinic (Rochester, USA). He
enjoys an extensive publication record and has attended several international and national scientific
conferences and a member of various learned societies and editorial boards
